About Jamie

Jamie Lynn Eros has been an active singer, performer, and teacher in the St. Louis area for over two decades.  She received the Master of Arts degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Iowa where she studied with John Muriello, and the Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Eastern Illinois University where she studied with Jerry Daniels.  After receiving her degree from the University of Iowa, she performed with several professional opera companies throughout the midwest.  In recent years, Jamie has appeared in productions by St. Louis Shakespeare Company, Stray Dog Theatre, Dramatic License Productions, Metro Theatre Company, and Opera Theatre of St. Louis.  Jamie sang four seasons as a staff singer with the St. Louis Symphony Chorus, having sung in the chorus’ last two critically acclaimed concert appearances at Carnegie Hall.  Jamie spends most of her time teaching in her private voice and piano studio in Belleville, Illinois where she is privileged to work with many wonderful students from age 6 to 70 plus.  You are never too old to learn how to sing.  It can bring such joy and passion to your life.
